Academic Advising - Staff

The Academic Advising System is designed to provide support for students of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine campus.  In particular, the aim is to assist students in their transition from secondary school to university and to help students deal with any possible difficulties. 

Students are assigned an advisor when enrolling at the university during ‘Orientation Week”.

An Advisor is a member of the Academic Staff; normally someone who teaches on the student’s course.
