In the context of its aim to value and treat students equally and fairly, and as part of its aim to achieve a more diverse student body, the University, as part of its guidelines to students, states:

“The University of the West Indies (St. Augustine Campus) is committed to the creation and support of a balanced and diverse community which is open and accessible to all students and service users who seek to benefit and who demonstrate the appropriate potential, skills and abilities”.
