The University of the West Indies Homepage
First Year Applicants

Applications are invited for admission in August 2013 to undergraduate degree/certificate/diploma programmes on the three Campuses of The University of the West Indies.  Applications are open to all persons who are recognized as having satisfied the matriculation requirements for entry to The University of the West Indies as well as such Faculty requirements as may obtain.  Apply for Full-Time Programmes from November 12, 2012 – February 28, 2013 (Extended deadline)

NB:  Candidates who will be sitting examinations in November 2012 and between January and June 2013 to qualify for admission may also submit applications.

The offer of a place will be considered only where the applicant has satisfied both matriculation and faculty requirements.  Due to the limited number of places available in each faculty, only applicants with the highest levels of qualification are likely to receive offers.  Possession of minimum entry requirements does not guarantee a place.

Who can Apply

The following applicants are considered for entry:
  • those who already satisfy Matriculation and Faculty requirements;
  • those who are taking examinations in January and June in order to qualify for entry.

The offer of a place is considered ONLY when applicants have satisfied both matriculation and faculty requirements. As a result of the limited number of places available in each faculty, only applicants with the highest academic qualifications are likely to receive offers.

Important: See Entrance Requirements and Approved Subjects for further information
