Engineering

Passes in five (5) subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency (Grades I or II pre- 1998 and Grades I, II or III from June 1998) or GCE O-level which must include English Language, Chemistry and Mathematics or approved equivalents.

FOR CIVIL, ELECTRICAL & COMPUTER,INDUSTRIAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

  • Two 2-unit passes in Pure/Pure & Applied Mathematics and Physics at CAPE or GCE A-level or equivalent

FOR CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

  • Passes in two units of Chemistry at CAPE or GCE A-level or equivalent is required in addition to above

FOR PETROLEUM GEOSCIENCE

  • Three (3) GCE A-level passes in Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry and one other Science subject

FOR SURVEYING & LAND INFORMATION

  • Passes in five (5) subjects at CSEC (CXC) General Proficiency (Grades I – III) or GCE O-level which must include English Language, Physics and Mathematics
  • Two 2-unit passes in Pure/Pure & Applied Mathematics and Physics at CAPE or GCE A-level or equivalent
  • Two 2-unit passes in Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science, Geography,
    • Engineering Science, Economics, Technical Drawing or any other relevant subject at CAPE or GCE A-level or equivalent
NOTE: Holders of Associate degrees or diplomas from approved Caribbean tertiary level institutions must possess a minimum GPA of 3.5 or 65% and above.
