UWI provides a a wide range of support services to assist you in studies and relaxation, others for times when you need help and advice.

In conjunction with other departments and units, Student Advisory Services (SAS) offers a range of programmes that help students make the transition to life at UWI.
These include:- Student to Student Assistance Scheme (SSAS)
- Meet & Greet
- Check-In
- Information Village (during orientation week)
- Database of student employees for temporary jobs on-campus SAS also assists students on campus in many ways including:
- finding accommodation
- career guidance and placement
- financial assistance
- mentorship
students with special needs
All students with special needs or differently abled students, should communicate with Ms. Jacqueline Huggins, Co-ordinator, Academic Support/Disabilities Liaison Unit (ASDLU) at ext. 83921 or 83923, before or during registration. Every effort is made to facilitate your on-campus requirements in terms of mobility, accommodation, coursework, examinations, and other areas. Sharing your needs enables us to serve you better as a part of the campus community.
