Campus IT Services (CITS) advises
that the Campus Area Network (CAN) upgrade is in progress, and
disruptions in IT services will occur during the period April-July.
The
CAN provides physical infrastructure, connectivity and functionality,
allowing access to The UWI's centralised services, such as: e-mail,
Internet, Banner Finance, Banner Student, PeopleSoft, Student Portal and
the campus Intranet.
This upgrade will improve the delivery of these services, as well as network speed and capacity.
CITS apologises for any inconvenience caused.
