Land Ownership in Trinidad and Tobago: Issues and Challenges

Call for Papers

This conference is seeking papers based primarily on practical experiences and/or strong theoretical foundations in the following sub-themes:

  • Land Acquisition
  • Land Titling
  • Land Development and Ownership
  • Natural Resource Management
  • Impact of natural hazard: flood and landslide
  • Legal and administrative  frameworks
  • Gender and poverty  Issues
  • Information technology
  • Property valuation and taxation


Submitting Papers

Full papers must not exceed ten (10) sides of letter size paper.  If the paper is accepted, the author(s) will be invited to present the paper and have it included in the published conference proceedings. It is a condition of inclusion that at least one of the author(s) attends the conference. Authors also have the option of submitting extended abstracts of two (2) pages in length or PowerPoint Presentations for inclusion in the proceedings. 

 

Submitting Abstracts

Abstracts of 150-300 words, and up to five (5) key words, should be submitted.
