Payment Instructions

 

All conference presenters and participants pay the full late registration of $US250 by September 19. All persons including faculty (full-time or adjunct or part-time academic staff), administrators, full-time and part-time employees of academic and other institutions pay late registration of $US250 by September 19. Registered undergraduate and postgraduate students who present or attend pay $US100 or $TT625 by September 19.

This page provides guidelines on paying registration fees

  1. The reason for payment in all cases must be declared as “registration fee for Human Communication Studies Conference”.
  2. Cheques are to be made out to The University of the West Indies.

For conference presenters and non-presenters residing in Trinidad & Tobago


OPTION 1:

Register online by September 19th ($250 USD) and pay in person at the cashier in the Bursary, Main Administration Building, The UWI, St. Augustine. This may be via cash, Linx, or cheque.

 

OPTION 2:

Register online by September 19th ($250 USD) and post to or drop off a cheque at the following address:

OPTION 3

Register online by September 19th ($250 USD) and pay in person at the conference venue on September 26th. Forms of payment accepted: cheque, cash, Linx. Please note that choosing this option may entail standing in line at the cashier. If you register by September 19th you will pay the late registration rate.

 

For conference presenters residing outside of Trinidad & Tobago

Please note all payments by Options 1, 2, or 3 will require additional bank payments in excess of the late fee of $US250 by September 19 to meet the cost of the transfer for the account of the conference attendee.

 

OPTION 1
Register online by September 19th and wire transfer $US250 (attendees should cater for up to an additional US25 in bank transfer fees) to the university account identified in the table below.

Kindly scan and email to the conference secretary the advice you receive from your bank after making the transfer.  Remember to include the “reason for payment” as registration fee for Human Communication Studies Conference.
