Ivonne María Marcial
Ivonne María Marcial holds a Masters Degree in
Architecture from the University of Puerto Rico, San Juan,
Puerto Rico. Ivonne is also a Professor of Architectural
Design, Architectural Representation, and Photography
at the Polytechnic University in San Juan. She divides
her photographic work between architecture and Puerto
Rican traditions. Among her individual Exhibitions are
: Nocturnas - nocturnal photos of churches; Jugada de
caballero - the Puerto Rican men's attitude towards the
fight and the bet; Sketchbook - an architectural journey
diary; and Cadaveres Exquisito - a game used by the surrealist
(exquisite corpse) played by several persons; in this
case 2 photographers working on a piece.
