Linden

Linden Lewis is a Professor of Sociology at Bucknell University. He is the editor of The Culture of Gender and Sexuality in the Caribbean (University of Florida Press), and the co-editor (with Glyne Griffith) of the forthcoming anthology, Color, Hair and Bone: Race in the Twenty-First Century (Bucknell University Press). He is a Caribbean specialist whose work focuses on globalization, the state, labor, and the intersection of race, class and gender. Professor Lewis has written numerous articles in several leading Caribbean and North American journals that address the construction of masculinity as part of the wider discourse on gender in the Caribbean.
