Important Notice:  Persons who wish to pursue courses in Economics, Management Studies and Accounting should note that they would have to do Mathematics in Level 1 of their degree programme and, therefore, if their proficiency is low in this area they should take remedial mathematics classes/courses before starting at the university. Students who have not passed CXC General Mathematics or have passed CXC General or GCE 'O' Level Mathematics three or more years ago, are advised to take a Remedial Course in Mathematics in the period June to August 2007. Remedial Maths courses are offered by the UWI Distance Education Centre and the UWI School of Continuing Studies.

DURATION AND COURSE OF STUDY

CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

• Not more than three consecutive semesters, i.e. two semesters and one summer school session

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

• Minimum of three years to complete – four courses per semester and two Summer School Sessions.

• Maximum of seven and a half years (fifteen semesters and seven Summer School Sessions) with a maximum of two courses per semester.

POSTGRADUATE DEGREES
