This course focuses specifically on the market and industrial structure, operations impact and role of cultural industries in Caribbean development. The commodification and copyrighting of culture is analysed from an economic perspective.

Examination 60%

CA27C -The Art of the Festival
Pre-requisite: None

This course will investigate the definition, structure, behavioural patterns, and classification of festivals of Trinidad and Tobago

Assessment:
Coursework: 50%
