Prerequisite: CA22A
This course explores the relationship between drama/theatre and
the definition of Caribbean society. While the focus will be on
the English speaking region, material where available in translation
will be included from the Dutch, French and Spanish Caribbean.

in Theatre, Art & Music (Compulsory for BA,
Theatre)
Prerequisite: CA12A
The study of the connections and influences among the literature,
art, music, dance and theatre of particular isms (e.g. Romanticism,
Realism, Expressionism, Surrealism, Absurdism, etc.) to reveal
the continued influence on present day playwrights, composers,
artists and their productions.
