DMLL Research Notes
ISSN 2519-5123 (Online)
The DMLL Research Notes serial was borne out of a vision to share the research work of the Department's staff and students (both undergraduate and postgraduate).
Each issue focuses on staff publications and conferences, features a interview with or a profile of a member of staff, and details abstracts of MPhil and PhD theses, as well as abstracts of final year undergraduate projects, and highlights academic programmes and co-curricular student events.
Here are the most recent issues:
- Issue 3 (2016)
DMLL Research Notes Issue No. 3 features the work of Dr Jo-Anne Ferreira (Senior Lecturer in Linguistics) on the Portuguese language in Trinidad & Tobago, and her involvement in continuing the development of Lusophone Studies (especially Brazilian Studies) here at UWI, St Augustine.
- Issue 2 (2015)
DMLL Research Notes Issue No. 2 pays a tribute to recently retired Professor Valerie Youssef, and her diverse and impactful career in Linguistics, at the St Augustine campus of the UWI, focusing particularly on her theory of varilingualism and many more contributions.
