I work at the interface of veterinary medicine and human health, both as a scientist and as an educator. My work attempts to solve complex animal and public health problems to improve health and food security in the region.

Qualifications

  • BSc Zoology and Chemistry (UWI)
  • DVM (Hons.)- School of Veterinary Medicine, University of the West Indies
  • MSc Veterinary Epidemiology and Herd Health ( Utrecht)
  • PhD Epidemiology (UWI)

  • Arthropod borne diseases
  • Ethnoveterinary Medicine

  • President: Trinidad and Tobago Veterinary Association (TTVA) ( 2015 – 2017)
  • OIE National Focal Point Animal Production and Food Safety ( Sept 2015 – present)
