A
bachelors degree
requires three years
of education at a college
or university. There
is a broad array of
choices in Majors that
work with animals.
These include Animal
Science, Dairy Science
and Poultry Science.
You will study courses in science such as chemistry, biology and zoology.
At a large number of universities the departments that teach these courses
are housed in the College of Agriculture. In agricultural science you
will study Animal Anatomy, Nutrition, Animal Growth and Development,
other courses dealing with how animals live, grow and reproduce. By taking
courses in Agricultural Education, you can qualify to teach agriculture
at a CXC level.
