Once
you complete your bachelors
degree you may want
to continue your education
and get a Ph.D. degree.
With this graduate
degree you will be
able to conduct scientific
research or continue
with a degree in Veterinary
Medicine. You will
choose a specific area
of animal science in
which to concentrate
your studies and most
of your coursework
will be in that area.
For example, you might
want to study in the
area of nutrition or
animal reproduction.
Your course work will
include study in statistics
and research methodology
so you will be able
to understand, design,
and conduct scientific
research. These degrees
require good grades
in college and a determination
to study hard to reach
your career objective.
