• Comparative biodiversity of Trinidad & Tobago and Cuba (with Howard P. Nelson)
• Ecological relations of the spider Argiope argentata and the plant Cnidoscolus urens (with Jacques Daudin)
• Pesticide resistance of social vs solitary insects
• History of insect sociobiology (PhD thesis, Univ. of Utrecht)
