Abstract

The growing body of evidence that indicates the linkages between the trafficking of illicit drugs, illicit guns, human smuggling and human trafficking now demands understanding and articulation towards effective intervention. Indications are that illicit drug and gun trafficking routes are now utilised for human trafficking and human smuggling as illicit drugs and illicit gun trafficking organisations in the Caribbean are now dominating the illicit enterprises of human trafficking and human smuggling. This research project is then an attempt to understand and articulate this 21stCentury Caribbean reality."
