Conversations with CEOs featuring Mr. Gerry Brooks

Chat and Be Inspired!

The Department of Management Studies hosted its 1st Conversations with CEOs series for Academic Year 2018/2019 on Thursday 1st November 2018, featuring Mr. Gerry C. Brooks - Chairman of The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) and the NGC Group of Companies.

Mr. Brooks shared some valuable tips and insights with the attendees.

Some important and interesting advice to remember:

Resist ease, as ease is the enemy of success. Success does not come with a relaxed mindset. Patience, hardwork and delayed gratification are essential for overall success.

Every rock you fall on, let that rock be the foundation for success.

Always believe in yourself, to always back yourself and stand by your ideas. It is not where you come from, it is where you are going.

Action without vision is passing time - Action with vision is energy.

We are very grateful that Mr. Brooks took the time to participate in the series, and to speak about his journey to where he is positioned today.
