UWI STA Tourism Society

The UWI STA Tourism Society was officially launched in January 2018. The UWI STA Tourism Society is a fun and exciting club that strives to Educate, Engage and Empower both students and the public by hosting on-campus exhibits, touring the natural attributes of Trinidad and Tobago's hiking trails, beaches, and wildlife conservation centres. Members are afforded the opportunity to visit a variety of hotel chains (including Courtyard by Marriott and the Hyatt Regency Hotel) in which they are exposed to the job fields that are available.

The current members for 2017/2018 are:

Frieda Mohammed (President)
Vicki Mathura ( Vice President)
Amina Khan (Public Relations Officer)
Kristy Mike (Secretary)
Stephanie Pereira (Treasurer)
Saif Mohammed (Events Coordinator)

The team is very dedicated in ensuring that their members have the best time both on and off campus, while they bask in the wonders of the Tourism Industry.
