Dominica Resource Mobilization Working Meeting on Financing the Commonwealth of Dominica’s National Strategic Plan (NSP) on HIV/AIDS. The HEU developed strategies for the identification and mobilization of resources and spearheaded the effort to lobby donors to finance the Dominica NSP. A collaboration of the Health Economics Unit (HEU) of the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Roseau, Dominica – July 6 to 11, 2003.
Member of the Sub-Committee on HIV/AIDS, Ministry of Planning and Development. Vision 2020: Formulation of a Strategic Development Plan for Trinidad and Tobago – May, 2003 to 2004.

Member of the PANCAP/CARICOM team for the formulation of a Regional Proposal to the Global Fund for AIDS/TB & Malaria (GFATM) - 2002.
Attended meetings involving PANCAP/CARICOM and Representatives of Ministries of Health on discussions with pharmaceutical companies for cheaper prices for ARVs for the region - 2002.
Supported the Ministry of Finance during World Bank Mission. Support was provided to the Ministry of Finance in the estimation of programme costs, financial and economic feasibility assessments, and priority setting exercise under the national HIV/AIDS Programme - May 2002.
Coordinated Arima Borough Council Discussion on HIV/AIDS - Arima Town Hall, Arima, Trinidad - April 2002.
Supported the Government of Grenada during World Bank Mission. Support was provided to the Ministry of Health in the estimation of programme costs, financial and economic feasibility assessments, and priority setting exercise under the national HIV/AIDS Programme – January 2002.
Member of the Trinidad & Tobago team for negotiations with pharmaceutical companies for cheaper prices for ARVs. A 90% reduction in prices was negotiated in principle – 2001.
