Information for Staff

All faculty and staff of UWI St. Augustine receive an email account. This email account is available anywhere you have Internet access. You are advised to check it on a regular basis as many important notices are sent via this resource.

 

Your Email Username and Address

The username for your email account follows the format firstname.lastname e.g. (Michelle Jones - michelle.jones). Your email address is the username followed by "@sta.uwi.edu" (e.g. michelle.jones@sta.uwi.edu).

 

Your Email Password

Your email account is created once you have received a network username and password . If at any time you forget your password contact the Help Desk (4357-help) and they will help you get it reset.

 

Access Your Email Account via webmail

Step 1. Go to https://webmail.uwi.tt
Step 2. Enter your username (e.g. jonemich) and your password
Step 3. Click Login

 

Spam Control and Email Filters

Industry standard Spam Firewall has been installed to control the massive amounts of spam targeting the UWI network. The Spam Firewall is an integrated hardware and software solution that is placed between the internet and the mail server at C.I.T.S. . It provides a powerful, easy to use solution to eliminate spam on Campus. Information for Students

All financially cleared students of the St. Augustine Campus receive a free 25Mb email account. It is strongly advised that you check this email regularly as many important notices are sent via this resource. Your email address is accessible through the mySTA student portal. Students email addresses follow the format yourstudentid@mysta.uwi.edu. You can access your email by clicking here.

 

Your Email Password

Your email username and password is the same combination used to log on to the computer labs on campus. If you are unable to access your email (or log on to the campus computer network) you need to have your password reset. Click here to find out how to have your email password reset.
