Why use Webmail?

Access your University e-mail account from any computer connected to the internet. Wherever you maybe – on campus, at home, at an internet cafe or out of the country, log on and read your email.

Special Note for Students

This email service will be used by you, the student, for ALL official communication with your Lecturers, Campus Administration (Admissions, Student Services, Faculty Office staff etc), and other students.

Webmail Help

For Staff · For Students

All faculty and staff at the St. Augustine campus will have an email account in the format [firstname].[lastname]@sta.uwi.edu.

While on campus network, staff will have access to their email account via the client installed on your desktop computer e.g. Microsoft Outlook. Your staff email is also accessible anywhere you have Internet access.

If you encounter any problems with your email, you may contact your Faculty Network Administrator

All registered and financially cleared students are provided with a 25MB email account. Access your e-mail account from: http://mysta.uwi.edu.

Your User Name is your Student Identification number and your initial Password is your date of birth in the YYYYMMDD format. For example, someone born on April 21st, 1985 will enter 19850421 as the initial password.

Your e-mail address is easy to remember, all you need is your Student Identification number: studentid@mysta.uwi.edu. For example: 987654321@mysta.uwi.edu.

Check your e-mail account often to receive official communication from Campus Administration and to keep abreast of announcements from your Lecturers.
