Qualifications & Experience

Ph.D. in Biometry or Biostatistics

and their applications to Food, Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources and Allied Health Sciences  

Considerable teaching, research and curriculum development at the University level and a proven record of publications in refereed scientific journals. Experience in the theory and applied courses in Statistics and Biometry at both undergraduate and graduate levels and short-term courses.  Application of statistical principles to Food, Agriculture, Environmental and Natural Resources and Public Health Problems.

 

Special Responsibilities

 

  • Teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, especially on the subject areas of Statistics and Applied Statistics
  • Supervising undergraduate projects in Applied Statistics
  • Providing statistical advice and support to students and staff on the design and analysis of experiments or surveys as well as the interpretation of results
  • Conducting relevant research and supervising graduate students

  • able to contribute significantly to the teaching, research, curriculum development and supervision of graduate students
