Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST CDSDEC/09/07, The University of the West Indies, Faculty of Sport, Vice-Chancellery.


The successful applicant should have a Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in Educational Technology, Education or a related discipline with proven practical experience in curriculum development in distance education.  Experience in project management and training is essential to the position. The successful applicant will also be required to work with Course Writers, Course Coordinators and Academic Programme Coordinators. 


The successful applicant will be required to work with UWI Faculties and other possible organisations outside the UWI to adapt or develop courses or programmes both for face to face and distance education delivery.  He/She will coordinate curriculum development across all campuses.


The successful applicant will report to the Dean, Faculty of Sport.
