Full Biography

Dr Chumah Amaefule joined the St Augustine, Faculty of Law, The University of the West Indies in January 2014. He holds LLB from University of Calabar, Nigeria, LLM and PhD from University of Birmingham, UK. Dr Amaefule is admitted to the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a Solicitor and Barrister.

Dr Amaefule's primary research interests lie in Commercial Law comprising in particular international trade and finance law, international sale of goods, banking and international banking law and practice. Dr Amaefule also has teaching and research interests in tort law and corporate insolvency law.
