Confucius Institute Day - Myths and Legends

The University of the West Indies established a Confucius Institute in Trinidad and Tobago on October 23, 2013. Come celebrate its 3rdanniversary with a special day of activities called Confucius Institute Day from 10am to 3pm.

Chinese Calligraphy


At this booth you can try your hand at Chinese calligraphy, learn about the origin and evolution of Chinese calligraphy through interactive games and even make your own Calligraphy masterpiece!

Costume Corner


Calling all costume lovers! Want to dress up in traditional Chinese clothing? Come to this booth to try on and learn about the unique clothing worn by Chinese ethnic minority groups. Take an instant photo at our photo-booth as a souvenir.

Message Wall


Did you enjoy yourself today? Here you can leave us a message, comment, drawing or anything you like. Our instructor can teach you how to write your message in Chinese so you can write it on the wall.

Mini Education Fair


Want to study in China? Come to this booth to learn more about opportunities to pursue short-term and long-term higher education studies in China.

Want to know more about the Confucius Institute? Come to this booth to learn more about our Chinese language and culture activities and even participate in a short Mandarin Chinese class.
