IGDS Lunchtime Seminar Series with Dr. Christine Descartes

The Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) continues their Lunchtime Seminar series with a presentation on the topic, Who’s Homophobic? Demographic predictors of attitudes toward homosexuality among tertiary level students in Trinidad with Dr. Christine Descartes.

The seminar takes place February 22 from noon at the IGDS Seminar Room. Feel free to walk with your lunch.

About Dr. Descartes

Dr. Christine Descartes is a lecturer in Psychology in the Department of Behavioural Sciences at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. She received her PhD specialising in Developmental Psychology, from The UWI, St. Augustine. She has been involved in lecturing and research supervision at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her research interests focus on behavioural and psychosocial development in children and adolescents. She is currently involved in regional research that centres on child and adolescent trauma and behavioural problems among youth.
