DMLL Foreign Language Theatre Festival

The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics (DMLL) presents their Foreign Language Theatre Festival. Students from the following language disciplines: Japanese, French, EFL, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish practice and hone their foreign language skills through the art of theatre, an unforgettable and enjoyable language learning experience!

The festival takes place on May 23 at the Centre for Language Learning (CLL) Auditorium in two sessions: Morning Session from 9.15am to 1pm and the Evening Session from 5.30 to 9pm.

The schedule is as follows:

Morning Session

  • 9:15 a.m. - 9:25 a.m. Opening
  • 9:25 a.m. - 10:05 a.m. Tom do Brasil
  • 10:10 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. L'inspecteur Toutou
  • 10:55 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Break
  • 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tres sombreros de copa
  • 12:05 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. That’s life
  • 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Closing

Evening Session

  • 5:30 p.m. Opening
  • 5:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. L'inspecteur Toutou
  • 6:20 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tom do Brasil
  • 7:05 p.m. - 7:20 p.m. La Diablesse
  • 7:20 p.m. - 7:40 p.m. Break
  • 7:40 p.m. - 7:55 p.m. “年”的传说
  • (The Legend of Nian)
  • 8:00 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. Tres sombreros de copa
  • 8:45 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Closing
