Norman Girvan Library Thanks You

Posted Thursday, August 10, 2017

In July 2017, the Norman Girvan Library in collaboration with Project for Educational Excellence (PEDEX) completed their Book Donation Drive as part of International Nelson Mandela Day (bolded words are hyperlinked)].

They thank you for making the drive a success. See their Thank You Letter below:

Dear Donors,

On behalf of the Norman Girvan Library of the Institute of International Relations (IIR)  and The Project for Educational Excellence (PEDEX), we would like to thank you for your very kind  donation of books toward our Book Donation/Educational Drive, held in commemoration of Nelson Mandela International Day. Your generosity has made it possible for the libraries of three primary schools to access upgraded collections and will allow hundreds of children to benefit from this focus on information literacy.

Our target for the Book Collection Drive was one hundred and eighty books. Thanks to your contributions, we have surpassed this target. It is the kindness and generosity of individuals like you that continue to make the difference.

Thank You from the Staff of the Norman Girvan Library and the Project for Educational Excellence; and even greater thanks from the students of Mayo RC Primary School, Penal Rock Hindu School and Hokett Baptist Primary School.

We wish you all the best in your current ventures and future endeavours, and look forward to your continued support.

Kind Regards,

Cherill Farrell

Librarian,

The Norman Girvan Library
