NIHERST and German Embassy Renewable Energy Exhibition

NIHERST, in collaboration with the German Embassy hosts a German Renewable Energy Exhibition titled Energiewende: Switch to the Future.

The exhibition takes place from September 26 to October 6, Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm at the Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC). The exhibition is open to the public.

The entrance fee is as follows: Children (12 years and under): $15; Adult (13 years and over): $30.

About Energiewende

Germany’s plan to completely switch its energy supply to renewable energy by 2050 is the focus of this exhibit. This exhibit will educate visitors on the importance of renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the need for a collective partnership between countries to create a more sustainable future.

Energiewende will also showcase that this project fosters sustainable and profitable development, innovation, invention and job growth in varying sectors. Additionally, it will highlight that the recent developments and investments in renewable energy are making this transition a possibility for many more developed and developing countries. The target audience is the general public and secondary schools.
