Postgraduates - Submit your Leave of Absence Online

The Office of Graduate Studies and Research wishes to advise that the Leave of Absence (LOA) online portal is scheduled to close on February 28, 2018. For information on how to access, please click here.

Please note the following:

  • Once you submit an online Leave of Absence, you are advised to check your student email or transcript within three weeks of the online submission to verify whether the request was approved.
  • The only hard copy (letter/form/memo) Leave of Absence requests that would be accepted would be those relating to medical reasons e.g. pregnancy.  An official medical letter from the student’s doctor must accompany the LOA request otherwise your request will not be accepted.
  • Late Leave of Absence requests submitted in hard copy after February 28 will not be accepted/approved and an entry of “NR (Not registered)” would be placed on the student’s Banner record.
