RDI-TT Fund Eco-Friendly Approaches to Plant Disease Management Workshop

The UWI RDI-TT Fund sponsored AIMS project [Promoting Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (AIMS) to address the challenges in Food Safety and Food Security in the Caribbean] presents a two-day workshop on The Eco-Friendly Approaches for the Management of Vegetable Diseases facilitated by the Department of Food Production, Faculty of Food and Agriculture.

The workshop takes place on April 25 and 26 from 9am to 5pm at Sir Frank Stockdale Building, Lecture B. The deadline for registration is April 20 before 5pm. Participants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis.

About the workshop

The workshop will present the innovative techniques and practices in the eco-friendly management of major diseases in vegetable crops mainly emphasizing on the alternatives to highly hazardous pesticides.
