IGDS June Research Seminar Presentations

The Institute of Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) presents Research Seminars by their graduate students.

Seminars take place on June 12 from 10am to 1pm at the IGDS Seminar Room.

Please note: The door will close ten minutes before the start of all presentations.

  • 10 to 11am | Marcus Kissoon, MSc in Gender and Development Studies candidate will present on Implications of masculinity for males who have experienced CSA within the processes of disclosure, treatment, and healing. Supervisor: Dr Angelique Nixon.
  • 11am to noon | Yolanda Simon, MSc in Gender and Development Studies candidate will present on Experiences of HIV positive Women in the National HIV/AIDS Epidemic in Trinidad and Tobago - 1990-2010. Supervisor: Dr Sue Ann Barratt.
