Campus Bulletins

All students and all members of staff are issued with ID cards.  If you consult the back of your own ID card, you will find the following wording:

“This ID CARD must be displayed when entering or while on the UWI St. Augustine Campus and produced for inspection on demand by security and other authorized personnel.” 

In keeping with the Campus Principal’s directive that we pay greater attention to security issues on the Campus, I am writing to inform all students and staff that with effect from Monday 16 March 2009, any person not clearly displaying their UWI ID Card may be refused entry to the Campus, or be required to depart from it.

Security personnel are aware that persons other than those who are issued with ID Cards make bona fide use of the Campus.  The wearing of their ID Cards by persons who are required to display them will assist our security personnel to focus on those who may pose a threat to the safety and security of all of us on the Campus.
