6. 1991 - Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) : Research Associateship Award in Food Engineering. Tenable at Laval University, Dept. of Food Science and Technology (STA), Quebec, Canada. Worked with Professor Francois Castaigne (summer of 1991, 1993 and 1994) on Food Dehydration.
7. 1975 - CIDA Scholarship for Ph.D. studies in Engineering in Canada.
8. 1973 - University of the West Indies Postgraduate Award for M.Sc. Studies (Research) in Mechanical Engineering in Trinidad.
9. 1972 - Sir Solomon Hochoy (Governor General) Award, Best Graduating Mechanical Engineering Student, UWI, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
10. 1970 - Government of Guyana, Conditional Scholarship for Undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering.
