The staff of the Office of the Campus Principal provides support in three broad areas: strategic management and programming, protocol and events management and general administration.The Senior Programme Manager provides general oversight of the staff and activities of the Office of the Campus Principal and is responsible for matters related to strategic management, operational and financial management, public engagements and relations with both internal and external stakeholders.
The Senior Planning Officer undertakes analytical studies to enhance institutional efficiency and support planning activities for the Campus. This includes monitoring the progress of the implementation of the Strategic Plan on the Campus, preparing institutional progress reports for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education and coordinating special projects assigned by the Campus Principal.
The Personal Assistant to the Principal also carries out the functions of a Campus Events Manager and is responsible for the organization of events hosted or supported by the Campus Principal as well as all protocol arrangements for the Principal, the Vice Chancellor, Chancellor and any visiting dignitaries.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for ensuring efficient office management and administration. This includes activities such as filing and documentation control,
scheduling of meetings, travel and accommodation, and payments to suppliers.
