Check-In Programme is for international and regional, first year and first time students only
Check-In is a FREE programme that will assist new students with their orientation and transition to University life and allow them to appreciate the diversity of life and culture in Trinidad and Tobago. This weekend orientation programme allows participants to spend one night and two days on residence engaging in activities which will highlight some of the “ins and outs” of University life. These activities include a series of discussions on registration, international opportunities, security, student support services, as well as a tour of Port of Spain, Trinidad and cultural show. Students will also have the opportunity to meet peers from various countries and build new friendships.
Should you be interested in the Check-In programme, the University will cover your meals and housing from August 27th to August 28th 2016. If you are flying in from the across the region or world, may we suggest that you arrive on the afternoon of Friday 26th August 2016 as the Check-In programme starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. on August 27th 2016. If you arrive on this date, and do not have boarding, you will need to indicate on the registration form your interest in booking a room for Friday 26th August at your expense of USD10/TTD60. If you do have boarding, then we kindly ask that you meet us at Canada Hall 7:30 am on Saturday 27th August 2016.
Please note that space is limited and this programme operates on a first come, first serve basis.
