I would like to take this opportunity to thank you both (Dr. Roach and Dr. Wallace) for launching this Postgrad initiative. The topics covered over the past five weeks are very essential to our growth and development, not only as students but as professionals and aspiring scholars and achievers. I really did appreciate the wealth of knowledge that was shared with and given to us by the many presenters and Toastmasters team.

At the point of registration, I thought it was going to be the typical seminar with the same pointers that do not seem to work. Gladly this was not the case. I really loved how the presenters provided researched techniques and tips that have proven to work and how they shared it from a real world and personal point of view, giving their honest thoughts in what would have worked for them and what didn't, still leaving us with an open mind to try and find what is best suited for us: best fit vs. best practice.

The things shared in this programme may be taken for granted and may seem to the outside world that because we are postgrad students and have these "high" levels of education, we should know these things when in reality we don't because a majority of the system throughout focuses on academics alone. So, I am truly happy and grateful that you all decided to offer this to us to help our development and advancement.

Should you decide to offer similar programmes, kindly keep me informed.

Thank you once again.

... thank you both (Dr. Roach and Dr. Wallace) for organizing and hosting the PG Step Up programme. It was very beneficial to me and I have implemented some of the strategies from the sessions into my daily routine and the results have been amazing. Thank you for allowing me to participate and I look forward to any future workshops you may host.
