The following outlines the procedure for programme proposal within CETL:
- Faculty completes official UWI-approved templates - https://sta.uwi.edu/cetl/resources
- Faculty may seek 30 minute consultation with (Dr. Hill, Dr. Jones or Dr Zephyrine) CETL for clarification of unclear areas via https://sta.uwi.edu/cetl/book-consultationclinic
- The proposal is reviewed and/or approved by the faculty board/curriculum committee
- The proposal is submitted to the CETL for review via the CETL director (Dr. Leroy Hill)
- The proposal is added to the cue (of Dr. Hill, Dr. Jones, Dr. Zephyrine) and a database of proposals
- The proposal undergoes a period of review, feedback, amendments and resubmission. Note: the duration of this sub-process may vary primarily based on the resubmission of high quality amendments made by the faculty that is in keeping with the feedback provided by the CETL)
- Once the CETL’S standards are satisfied, an email is sent to the faculty that includes an approval memorandum and the approved proposal.
