What is Educational Technology?<\/h2>\n

Educational Technology<\/strong>, often shortened to EdTech<\/em>, is the purposeful integration of technology into teaching and learning processes. It includes not only tools and devices, but also the design, management, and evaluation of effective learning experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT)<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cEducational technology is the ethical study and practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This definition highlights that EdTech is rooted in theory, research, and evidence-based practices\u2014not just hardware or apps.<\/span><\/p>\n
