This repository\u2019s core data source is the University\u2019s Enterprise Student System &#8211; Banner Student.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">The general areas of reporting data available to our customers are as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Registration<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Graduation<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">General Student<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Application\/Admissions<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Academic History<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Workflow<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Xtender<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Hold Information<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Audits<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">Our Enterprise Reporting Solution produces reports in two document formats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">.PDF (Portable Document Format)<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">.CSV (Character Separate Values)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This service i.e. the development and building of End User Reports are carried out during business hours i.e. 8:30am &#8211; 4:30pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays.\u00a0Reports may vary in complexity and thus time to develop. CITS\u00a0will initially respond to the requester within 1-3 working days and then seek to agree on a timeframe to complete the particular request given the needs of the user as well as the estimated work to be done.\u00a0The Argos Self-Service system is available between the hours of 7:00am \u2013 12:00am on weekdays, except if system maintenance and scheduled downtime has been agreed.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Obtain Service<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Users can request this service and view the reports catalogue by accessing the Argos Service Catalogue\u00a0here:\u00a0<b><a href=\"\/cits\/argos-service-catalogue\/\">Argos Service Catalogue<\/a><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Conditions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The user&#8217;s Report request requires authorization from the Head of Department or Dean (where appropriate)<\/li>\n<li>The request should be made via your UWI Staff Email Account<\/li>\n<li>For First Time Argos users &#8211; in order to enable access to Argos from your computer, your local IT Administrator should be present to install the Argos client plug-in<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>CITS will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with customers to understand and document their reporting needs<\/li>\n<li>Action approved requests to develop new reports within the\u00a0Service Level Agreement (SLA)<\/li>\n<li>Make available i.e. enable access to existing reports where those reports meet the stated customer needs<\/li>\n<li>Agree with customers the action to be taken where the standard SLA resolution times will be exceeded (e.g. New\u00a0 reports with greater complexity may require more time to complete\/build)<\/li>\n<li>Provide workaround solutions where possible when the resolution time is extended<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Customers will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agree to obtain HOD\/Dean&#8217;s approval for their Report requests<\/li>\n<li>Submit Report requests via the CITS Service Desk<\/li>\n<li>Report perceived issues or errors in data to the CITS Service Desk<\/li>\n<li>Report Argos application issues or errors to the CITS Service Desk<\/li>\n<li>Work with CITS to document and report incidents, issues and errors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Campus Information\u00a0Technology Services (CITS) provides the infrastructure to deliver on the campus\u2019 reporting needs through the Enterprise Reporting Solution (ERS) &#8211; Argos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"dipi_cpt_category":[],"class_list":["post-1147","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\r\n<title>Argos Self Service - End User Reporting Services | Campus I.T.
