{"id":906,"date":"2023-08-15T18:47:55","date_gmt":"2023-08-15T18:47:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/test.sta.uwi.edu\/cits\/?page_id=906"},"modified":"2023-08-15T18:47:55","modified_gmt":"2023-08-15T18:47:55","slug":"business-systems-development-and-delivery","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sta.uwi.edu\/cits\/business-systems-development-and-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Systems Development and Delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"rtejustify\">Provision of end-to-end Information Technology (IT)\u00a0programme and project management aligned to University strategy delivering business analysis; process engineering\/re-engineering; systems development; testing; technical support; training and implementation handover in addition to ad hoc consultancy across the University.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>CITS will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Work with customers to analyze and define requirements used to develop a business case for approval, identifying benefits in line with University Strategic direction.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Manage programmes and projects using University standard procedures for Project Management and work closely with customers to obtain agreed requirements and design specifications.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Develop and system test solutions to agreed specification ensure delivery to agreed timescales and budget.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Provide progress reports and transfer completed applications into the production environment.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Ensure that the necessary support arrangements are in place.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Process requests for changes and enhancements to existing business applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>Customers will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Work with CITS to develop requirements for new and changes to existing processes and\/or services write business cases where appropriate for approval<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Review and approve requirements<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Complete user testing within agreed project timeframes confirm fitness for purpose<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Give formal approval for implementation and release retain overall ownership and budget control for projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Provision of end-to-end Information Technology (IT)\u00a0programme and project management aligned to University strategy delivering business analysis; process engineering\/re-engineering; systems development; testing; technical support; training and implementation handover in addition to ad hoc consultancy across the University.
