Students will learn: Properties of Natural Gas Systems; Gas Volumes; Reserve estimates; Pressure Transient Testing of Gas Wells; Deliverability Testing of Gas Wells; Gas Flow Measurement; Compression of Natural Gas; Gas Conditioning and Processing; Uses of natural gas; LNG; Field Development/Management; Gas Transmission/Pipeline Design Considerations; Offshore Operations; Gas Contracts. 1. The course will consist of a series of F2F lectures, inclusive of occasional lectures from industrial visitors related to the subject of natural gas engineering. These will be supplemented by tutorials. 2. The student will be required to complete a series of carefully designed coursework (home) work assignments, quizzes, and examinations as part of their regular course of study.
