Next, core concepts are defined, including the differences between Digitisation, Digitalisation and Digital Transformation. Students are then introduced to a range of digital project management frameworks, focusing on the two (2) core methodologies for the management and delivery of digital projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Waterfall \u2013 The traditional linear approach including variations of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that is derived from this<\/li>\n<li>Agile \u2013 Incremental delivery and the full range of Agile methodologies, with emphasis on Scrum for operationalising digital project delivery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Having established students\u2019 understanding of the core frameworks, a variety of hybrid approaches are considered. Included in all methodologies is the application to digital projects, of the seven (7) Project Management Institute (PMI) project management disciplines \u2013 Integration Management, Time and Cost Management, Quality Management, Resource Management, Communications Management, Risk Management and Procurement Management. Application of the theoretical frameworks and methodologies follows.
