The Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago collaborated with The Diplomatic Academy of the Caribbean to celebrate 50 years of Diplomatic relations between Spain and Trinidad and Tobago. The afternoon of celebration included a Distinguished Lecture by His Excellencey Javier Carbajosa Sanchez, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Trinidad and Tobago, a Historic Commemorative Exhibition and book-hand over, a "Chaconia" Tree-planting ceremony, followed by a flamenco performance at the cocktail reception.
