Regulations and Entry Requirements

Candidates applying for registration should normally have a minimum of one year’s appropriate practical experience, as well as either:

• A first degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Structural, Construction, Building or Architectural Engineering:

          OR

• A first degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture or Quantity Surveying or Surveying and Land Information:

          OR

• An equivalent qualification acceptable to the Faculty of Engineering.

Accreditation

MSc (Non-Technical)

This degree is accredited, as a Non-Technical MSc, as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.
