REQUESTING TRANSCRIPTS, CERTIFICATIONS OF DEGREE AND VERIFICATION OF AWARDS, INCLUDING LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION LETTERS<\/h2>\n

The Examinations Section provides students and graduates with the following documents related to your academic journey at The UWI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Official Transcripts<\/b><\/td>\n\n

An official transcript<\/b>\u00a0is signed and the name and mailing address of an<\/p>\n

Organization\/Agency\/Institution\/University must be included.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Available to current students and graduates\/alumni of the St Augustine Campus of The UWI<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Student Copies of Transcripts<\/b><\/td>\nStudent copy\u00a0transcripts<\/b>\u00a0are signed and either stamped or contain a watermarked student copy imprint. It is addressed to the student based on the information in our records.<\/td>\nAvailable to current students and graduates\/alumni of the St Augustine Campus of The UWI<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Certification of Diploma\/Certificate\/Degree<\/b><\/td>\nA copy (often a photocopy) of your original degree certificate that has on it an endorsement that it is a true copy of the original document.<\/td>\nOnly Available to graduates\/alumni of the St Augustine Campus of The UWI in possession of their original degree certificate<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Verification of Awards (Completion Letters)<\/b><\/td>\n\n

This \u00a0letter officially confirms that you have fulfilled your degree requirements and completed your programme of study and you have been awarded by The UWI.<\/p>\n

It must be addressed to an<\/p>\n

Organization\/Agency\/Institution\/University.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Only Available to graduates\/alumni of the St Augustine Campus of The UWI who have been awarded in the Student Administration System.<\/b><\/p>\n

The award would appear on your unofficial student transcript available in your\u00a0student portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Language of Instruction Letters<\/b><\/td>\n\u00a0This is a modified verification of award letter that identifies the Language of Instruction (English)<\/td>\nOnly Available to graduates\/ of the St Augustine Campus of The UWI \u00a0who have been awarded in the Student Administration System.<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

 <\/p>\n

A\u00a0transcript<\/strong>\u00a0reflects in chronological order the complete and unabridged record of courses for which the student is registered and grades earned.<\/p>\n

Status Letters are available for continuing students at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Levels:<\/p>\n

Undergraduate Students complete the\u00a0Status Letter Request Form<\/a>\u00a0and submit to the required \u00a0Student Affairs (Admissions) email address along with proof of payment. Email contacts are found on the form.<\/p>\n

Postgraduate Students complete the\u00a0PG Status Letter form<\/a>\u00a0and make payment via the\u00a0Online Payment Portal<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and select the\u00a0PG Status Letter Option<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Email the payment receipt and completed Status Letter Request form to\u00a0Postgrad@sta.uwi.edu<\/a>\u00a0for processing.<\/p>\n

How much do I need to pay?<\/b><\/td>\n\n

The cost of each\u00a0official or\u00a0student copy of a\u00a0transcript or verification letter<\/u>\u00a0is\u00a0US$6.00 or TT$42.00.<\/b><\/p>\n

For students with multiple awards\/degrees\/programmes, the fee applies\u00a0to each individual programme award or record request.<\/p>\n

The cost of a\u00a0Request for Certification of Diploma\/Certificate\/Degree<\/u>\u00a0is\u00a0TT$15.00<\/b>\u00a0per copy. A legal-sized colour copy of the original certificate must be uploaded to accompany this request<\/p>\n

Transcripts will be processed\u00a0ONLY<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0when the accurate proof of payment is submitted to the Transcripts Unit, Examinations by upload on this form and subsequently verified.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

How long does it take usually to process my request?<\/b><\/td>\n\n

There is no RUSH Transcript Request Option available at this time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Processing time is normally\u00a05<\/b>\u00a0working days for all Faculties except for the Faculty of Medical Sciences:\u00a010<\/b>\u00a0working days.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Processing times are subject to the completeness of the record and processing volumes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Uncollected Transcripts and other documents are destroyed after six (6) months.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Would there be any factors that may delay the processing of my transcript?<\/b><\/td>\n\n

Transcript and other requests cannot be processed if you have financial (Accounts Receivable) holds (including Library Fines) or Courses in Progress\/Missing grades.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before submitting your request, please ensure to contact the Bursary\u2019s Office at 662-2002 (ext. 84137\/83380) or the Library at 82132 to resolve any holds. You may also seek assistance from the\u00a0Bursary Help Desk<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please reach out to the respective Faculty where the course(s) were offered if you encounter any missing grades or registration issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n
