The conference will be a three-day event from 24-26th June 2020 at the University-Inn and Conference Centre, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
Aims of the conference
The main aim is to bring together in one space local, regional and international researchers, academicians and progressive practitioners including farmers, consumers and private entities in the field of climate smart agriculture:
• To share new research experiences and findings on climate smart food systems which are currently being implemented regionally and internationally
• To identify and promote regional and international networks for developing climate resilient sustainable agriculture models which are relevant for the diverse conditions of the Caribbean
• To propose climate change policies which may be adopted and implemented by decision makers in the food and agriculture sector.
• To identify new and emerging issues on climate smart food systems where additional research is needed in the Caribbean
